November 2012 - Golovkin offers Edwin Rodriguez & Thomas Oosthuizen.
La Bomba was undefeated and turned down $500k, twice his highest payday at that point. Oosthuizen asked for more money than was available.

May 2014 - In addition to negotiating with Chavez Jr for a fight at 168, Loeffler was also negotiating with Kessler for a fight at 168. But Kessler was asking for $4million.

February 2016 - Golovnkin's manager approaches WBA 168lb champ - Fedor Chudinov. Chudinov says he's not ready for Golovkin.

His team is currently having discussions with TR for a Rameriz fight next year. Loeffler and Sanchez are on record saying they'd accept the DeGale fight.
People need to start jumping on the opponents to take the damn fight.

Hey guys, since we're going to hate on Golovkin for not moving up, I've saved you all the trouble of finding the list of boxers who basically haven't done the same either. No need to thank me, as I know we should be hating on all these cowards without balls to do the same thing!
Any boxer that doesn't move up is a COWARD!!!!
Keith Thurman - Started fighting around the 150 flat range. Has basically been a welterweight since 2007.
Carl Froch - basically 168 since he turned professional in 2002
Lamont Peterson - basically 140 since he turned pro in 2004
Rances Barthelemy - 135 since 2009 (although is he moving up? Dude is almost 6 feet tall)
Erisandy Lara - basicaly 154 since 2008
Rigondeaux - 121-122~ish since pro-debut in 2009
Crawford - Started fighting around 137+ range. Has been fighting from 135-140 since he started in 2008.
Kovalev - LHW since 2009.
Frampton - started at 125, been moving around 121-125 since 2009.
Bradley - Started at 143 in 2004. Been fighting around 140-147.
Lee Selby - Started at around 130-135 first couple of fights. Now he's been mostly fighting at 125. Professional since 2008.
Glowacki - Been fighting at cruiserweight since he turned professional in 2008.
Scott Quigg - Basically been fighting at 121 since he turned professional in 2007.
Demetrius Andrade - Professional since 2008. Been fighting at 155 since then.
James DeGale - 168 since he started pro in 2009.
Gary Russell Jr. - 125-127 typically since he turned professional in 2009.
George Groves - 168 since he turned professional in 2008.

GGG has only beat bums so far so why move up? At least let him beat someone half decent before moving up! Problem is the half de cent fighters say they aren't ready for GGG.
At least GGG is a gent and is willing to wait four them

He did it because it was what best responded to his body maturity forcing his body to remain and killing himself to make weight is why he gradually progressed up through the weight divisions the only one he legitimately did move up by forcing himself was 154lbs why else do you think him as a champ at 154lbs refused to fight Lara and many of the other guys up there?

Daniel Ponce De Leon another guy who beat him it was one of those slightly competitive fights but Leon landed more and did the better work
Pauli Malinaggi Broner constantly throwing and missing whilst Paulie would double up his punches and land twice of what Broner landed
So on top of the Maidana and Porter losses that's 5 losses he wasn't handed that he absolutely should have been handed.Last edited by M Bison; 08-27-2016, 01:51 PM.
