Vargas is decent but his right hand is not good enough to control Manny at range and even at this late stage Manny is not easy to pin down with a really good right hand. Nor does Vargas have the defense that will keep Manny from landing when he chooses to engage, unless Manny aged a lot from the last Bradley fight to now.

This is a guy that eeked past Josesito Lopez with his chin out there the whole fight with Manny Steward even questioning whether he'd last 4 rounds. That's how he fights - chin out, ready to get dropped by a world class fighter. He's not busy enough and he doesn't have anywhere near good defense.

Manny's going to work this dude worse than he worked Algieri. We know that high workrate (Erik Morales) AND/OR stellar accuracy (Floyd Mayweather) are the only ways you're beating Manny. Vargas has neither.

If Vargas under Pbc umbrella he would be just another Josesito Lopez.

He used to be with mayweather promotions but left because they ****** and went to top rank. Anyways he schooled lopez when they fought and has only lost once in a controversial fight which should have been no contest. Also lopez has lost alot and vargas hasnt and is a 2 division champ. I highly doubt lopez could have schooled and knocked out ali the way vargas did. Hate all you want but vargas is a top ww and would beat almost everyone at pbc. He would school robert guerrero, andre berto. Only guys who are on his level are thurman porter and garcia

Until the 12th rd of the Bradley fight & the Ali fight he fought off his backfoot which is why he had no power. Hes not strictly a come forward fighter like porter or provodnikov but he definitely comes forward a good portion of his fights. His best asset is his jab which is long and strong ( thats what she said) but anyways ive been zaying for awhile now that since hes been with memo abd cooper he is alot stronger and more aggressive. He definitely has the power to knock manny out with that overhand right. The question is will he be able to land it? I think manny cruises to another decision victory unless vargas gets a lucky punch like marquez.

Also to the people who complain that bradley "schooled" vargas and are using that as an excuse to diss this fight, the 2 of the scores were 115 112 and 116 112. Thats definitely not a schooling and also bradley was fighting pretty ferociously while vargas admitted he wasnt being aggressive enough and thats why in the ali fight he said he was going to fight how he did 12th round vs bradley which he did and knocked him out. I think this will be a war or at the very least a more exciting fight than some on here are expecting
