Comments Thread For: Frank Warren Throws Water on Joshua's Claim of Joyce Robbery

Joe Joyce, I believe, can count himself unlucky that he is not entering the next phase of his career with a gold-plated bargaining chip d****d around his neck. I do go along with the train of thought that the super heavyweight silver medallist was hard done by with unfavourable scoring in Sunday's gold medal match against the Frenchman Tony Yoka, but it wasn't a Rio robbery on the scale of Michael Conlan's blatant mugging a few days before, which probably tainted our perspective of subsequent events in the ring at Riocentro.

Assuming that Joyce will not be heading to Boxnation then lol.

Not that what Fwank said was wrong or outlandish, but you know if it looked like Joyce was was signing for him it would have been a blatant robbery

warren's days of getting the pick of the litter are done regardless. he'll take whatever scraps hearn leaves

the only exception may be conlan, since warren already has his brother. but then i reckon mcguigan will be really keen on him too (would make a great undercard attraction for frampton bills)

Yeah you would have thought Conlan will be Ireland based. Unless a US promoter comes in with decent money like they did with Quigley. Even then if he is smart he will stay in Ireland fkr a while and get that support base
