That's just it... the Wilderiots will never put any demands on their idol. He could keep fighting fringe contenders til he retires, if he could make the WBC keep putting up with it that long, and the Wilderiots would be happy as can be. Can't wait for his fights with Fury, Joshua, Ortiz, Haye. He's most likely not get by any of them. The guy has talent, no doubt, but when is he gonna lose the ego that doesn't match the talent whatsoever? Not just in this interview, but always. I've seen the guy at fight cards, always the attention ho. Constantly. The whole night. Never seen anyone that needy for attention before. Not even my GFs thru the years. I doubt Miller stops him, not at this stage at least, but it will be scary after he's stopped vs any of the above fighters... because his ego is simply not built for any of that.

yeah, thing is with deontay noone is ducking him, noones scared of him and theres plenty of fighters out there who would want to fight him, but deontay would rather fight people like arreola and molina.

Yep... but he'll say the circumstances aren't exactly perfect, the moon isn't aligned right, the other fighter doesn't deserve it, he offers the other fighter slave wages, etc etc.

Really? He was in talks with Frank Warren for a fight with Fury as his first defense of the WBC title but Fury declined and opted to fight Christian Hammer....Glaskov pulled out of negotiations with Wilder to fight Martin. Povetkin has been delaying his own mandatory shot since last Summer and AJ stated that he's not ready yet.

Wilder fights who he can fight....And as WBC champ, he can only fight guys ranked in the WBC or guys with a major title.

Wilder is not the type of man who ducks....Hes very ambitious.

This would be a fight tailor made for Birmingham, Alabama. Hell, Miller could pick up a few buckets of chicken from KFC on the way to the "arena" - it's probably just down the road.

                Aim high, Deontay.

I already silenced you the other day when I told you Ortiz and Ostinov had a date for the regular title - stop feigning ignorance and you brought up David Haye? hes been running from Briggs and is waiting on Joshua since that fight is the most lucrative fight for both these men in the UK...and as far as I know Haye has been happy selling out Arenas fighting BUMS! dont speak on the Bronze Bomber again hater!

rumour, and the clips of wilder getting wobbled, suggest that haye gave wilder a hiding in sparring and he wants the fight, called him out. No you didnt 'silence' me, ortiz is a ticking clock, unless hes crazy i would imagine he would throw any other fights out the window if he got a crack at the golden goose aka deontay wilder or any one of wilder/joshua/fury. Whats wrong with fighting a pulev or someone like that? WHy does it have to povetkin or noone?
