i agree with him re. roman gonzalez. i'm a bit concerned for him against cuadras. he already looked less effective at flyweight than he did at junior fly and minimumweight

Lara's team already said they want the GGG fight to be on Showtime, not HBO. I guess "A side" is only important when Haymon fighters are the A-side. When HBO fighters are the A-side, suddenly the B-side should get to call all the shots anyway.

What's also funny is that in the context of GGG and Kovalev, Stephen Espinoza always talks about how he's against tying down fighters to one single network with exclusive contracts, because he wants them to be able to be free to make the best fights on any channel. But then any time a fighter who usually fights on PBC or Showtime has an opportunity to make the best fight of their career with GGG or Kovalev on HBO, they say "even though we don't have a contract with Showtime, they've been good to us, and we're loyal to them."

So what exactly is the point of not having exclusive contracts with a network, in order to be able to fight on other networks, if every single time you have the opportunity to make a big fight on other networks, you say "actually I've been with this network, and I want to be loyal with them and stick with them."

So Espinoza criticizes HBO for their formal exclusive contracts with fighters, but based on the actions of all the top PBC fighters, it looks like Espinoza has informal exclusive contracts with them for Showtime. So what's the difference lol? Boxing is a hypocritical joke man.

Do you have a source for that?

I'm sure they would prefer to have the fight on whichever network offers the most money. But I don't recall Lara's team ever saying that fighting on HBO is a deal breaker.

Triple g "thee god of war " would take lara apart and more than likely end his career. There is nobody below 175 that stands a chance against triple g.

Andre Direll might be the most deserving a title level wise.
