Why do some posters hate Gennady Golovkin so much?

He's not a privileged boxer, he had to move to a new country to fight.

He's never enjoyed home advantage. He's had world title fights in several countries. He's never needed referees to permit him to foul, or to protect him.

He's never been a prima donna who demands all the advantages. He doesn't badmouth other boxers, although he occasionally responds when they talk about him. He's never demanded his opponent wear gloves with extra padding.

He's a nice guy outside the ring. He doesn't beat up women.

He doesn't clamp his opponents arms, he doesn't clinch much, he doesn't head butt. He doesn't run from his opponents.

He wins his fights by knockout, not dull decisions. He's exciting to watch and good for the sport.

Why do some posters hate him so much?

for me its the hype that follows him. i want every boxer to do well and prove themselves in the ring. the sport can never have too many legit bad asses.

if you ask any boxer, theyd all say they will beat the other guys ass. unfortunately, 9 out of 10, someones gotta lose.

also, this moving around shlt. i dont like it when a guy makes demands he himself wouldnt do.

in a sport of brutality it hard to ask the fans to respect a coward who wants everyone to man it up but he himself wont dare to be great.

What do you mean won't dare to be great?

Do you realize it not easy to move to a new country, have no privileges/advantages, and dominate a division? He is great.

Middleweight is a standard division. Many hide in super welterweight and super middleweight.

Super welterweight would be ideal for GGG's size, but he never "hid" at 154 like some others.

GGG didn't fight a guy who struggled to make 168 for years is at light heavyweight now. What a coward right? But ginger **** had a belt in GGG's division and demanded 154 holding a 160 belt. So much for "Mexicans don't fcuk around" and then VACATED LOL

Right miss "GGG needs to be a man and take a risk by fighting Canela at 154 for a 160 belt"
