Adonis Stevenson because of his fearsome pimp slapping back hand, and because he has damn fine taste in clothing, str8 up pimp, sure his opposition hasnt been the best but theres no fighter in boxing i rather watch

Andre Ward for being a special Mayweather type talent, also he hasnt lost since he was 12 which shows just how special he is, also unlike Mayweather hes a really down to earth guy

Artur Beterbiev for being the baddest man in boxing, hardest puncher p4p, he reaps souls in the ring

Vasyl Lomachenko also a very very special talent, fun to watch too

those would probably be my favorites

I don't know that I feel super passionately about many if any guys while liking & enjoying watching many guys. I was a big Floyd, Toney, Chris Byrd, RJJ, Tito, Corrales, Hamed & many other guys fan, but now that that era has passed I don't feel as connected to the GGG's, Canelo's, TC's, Thurman's & the rest of the top guys or the guys coming up still. Thats not to say I don't like the current crop of top guys, but no one really gets me excited for a fight like Tito, Floyd or RJJ when they were on top of the boxing world & in big fights.

People in here often call me anti-white because I think Ward would spank both Kovalev and Golovkin, lol, but the truth is, that as a black man, I always felt a deep connection with Carl Froch.

People just kept underrating him. Like when Bute was the massive favourite to beat him and when Pascal was the favourite to beat him or when Taylor was the favorite to beat him. Reminds me of thug life, the black struggle. Froch was a warrior who didn't have great skills, but his physical attributes and his heart made it possible to go as far as he went. I got mad respect for Froch and while he's not even in the ATG top 50, his fighting spirit is number 1.

I will always be a great Froch fan. Ward is a better fighter, Calzaghe is a better fighter, who gives a ***. Froch was the coolest warrior to watch.

It's funny to see quite a few Chris Byrd fans considering his style was not what traditionally would be called "exciting." I loved watching him fight. I'll still never forget watching him make David Tua back up with perfect jabs to the body. It really looked like he would take a knee in that fight.

Nowadays there's a few guys I enjoy but not like back in the day. Wilder, broner, Kovalev, Hurd, chocolatito, Golovkin, Estrada, gamboa, are all must watch fighters for me nowadays.

Not to change the thread to much man? I think a lot of us dont feel connected to these guys like we did to the kinda guys you mentioned. Its hard to like this generation I think they seem more like businessman than fighters. You agree?

Could have something to do with it. I've not thought about it very much, but for sure the focus on marinating which is just putting off big fights for max money or all the payday & contract talk while sometimes being understandable or even interesting to discuss has steered the focus of boxing away from the actual fights in many ways.

You're gonna have serious hatred for Usyk and Kovalev

Why? Both are good fighters and good showmen. If we imagine that they would win, the only thing I would be sad about was my wrong predictins. But I would be happy for the fighters.

TBH, Kovalev's racist tone annoys me a lot. But no one can take anything away from his punching power. He just needs to get some balance and defense for his flawed technique.

Very true. Now I am not a fan of fighters not getting their due $$$ wise but I think thats where the UFC has kinda taken advantage of the market. Their guys are hungry for a payday and theres no sense in marinating because thats what little $ they make lost. In boxing marinating is just $$$ in the bank.
