thats the only way i think vargas can hurt manny, by going to the body. pac doesnt usually block any body punches. he pulls guard with both arms so high up to block his face that his entire body is open. bradley landed some very good body shots against pac.

Lol Vargas is pretty sturdy man, I dont think Pac will get 4 KD's. Maybe a flash KD from speed but I think Vargas is going to hurt Pacman. Vargas has good defense and the key will be that Vargas learned to throw with these fast guys and thats how you catch Pacquiao plus hes taller and at a prime age. This is an upset waiting to happen. Im a big TC fan so personally if Vargas wins Id rather see him go another route, DSG vs Vargas would be a dream fight if Vargas gets past Pac but we will probably get a re-match.

Sid Knee i agreed with you till you started talking about Americans and Mexicans. Must be a Euro. We are talking strategy and you try to get cute. It is going to be a good fight though. I actually like this fight better than Crawford and Pac. Crawford is a spoiler and both guys don't need each other right now. Let Pac fight a stalker like Vargas and Crawford continue to build momentum to take over in a year or two.

Did you notice in the Bradley fight that Pac used that switch step more with both hands down? I did, it worked well against Tim Bradley but if he does that with Vargas he will get caught reaching, Vargas is pretty tall for a WW. I havent seen Vargas do much body work but you 2 maybe onto something but I think his best bet is to throw with Pac and catch him coming in with an overhand right.

when manny goes to the rope. or when he just stops right in the center of the ring with his guards up. he tends to do this a lot now. i dont know if he's doing it to get a breather or if he's trying to counter his opponent. but in every fights he does this. he'll just walk back to the ropes with his guards up and let the other guy dig into his body. bradley got in like 4 good body shots until pac finally moves out. at this point manny cant be giving up anything so easily like that. he needs to make them work for it.

lets hope Vargas win then cause then this could build up some young guys for the future of boxing and put on a good vargas vs crawford battle. I think Pac vs Vargas wil be a good fight
