Plus it wouldve set up a hell of a rematch where broner couldve went back to the drawing board. and if he was to win the rematch( doubt he would but hypothetically speaking) if he won then All wouldve been forgotten about the first one. and he would probably be a PPV star by now.
sry but only broner and his camp thought he was the next may.

The fight was already set up for a big rematch it's just Maidana only hung around for 2 more fights.

Do you think his career could possibly be different if he did that?
No. He lost to a guy who was slightly bigger than him. He talked the talk and you have to walk the walk. I was kinda surprised that he not only survived, but fought hard. He doesn't get credit for that because of the **** talking that he did before the fight.

That headbutt wouldn't have broken an egg and suggesting him staying on the deck from that is wack.

The reason he never got a rematch is because Floyd decided to fight Maidana. It's rare the champ doesn't get a rematch.

thats part of another reason was that the fight was so one sided that it was obvious they were on 2 different levels as fighters... but if AB wouldve took that dive a lot of un answered questions would've led to a rematch.
