I am a huge fan of both Spence and GGG. I think they are both the best fighters in the world in their own weight classes. Spence is a welterweight and GGG is too big and hits too hard for him. GGG would knock him out. You make it sound like GGG was looking for a welterweight to fight and had his choice of any welterweight and chose Brook. Nothing could be further from the truth. GGG tried hard to get fights with MIDDLEWEIGHTS Saunders and Eubank first and they wouldn't fight him. With time running out on GGG's HBO date Brook volunteered to fight GGG in England with both fighters making good money and GGG accepted. GGG was not shopping for welterweights to fight and Brook's offer took everyone by surprise. GGG never had the option to fight Spence. Team Spence would never be crazy enough or ****** enough to want to fight GGG.

GGG's team choose Brook instead of Spence because they knew Spence would have been too dangerous of a fight since Spence is a southpaw just like Lara. Imagine Spence tagging Golovkin with the same shots Monroe did. GGG would be put to sleep.

GGG knocks out glass-chinned bums like Geale who Cotto also stopped while Spence stops durable veterans like Bundu/Algieri who Pac/Thurman couldn't stop.

And you can't use the money excuse because Spence just did 6 million views more than Thurman/Porter combined.
