Pretty simple, as he's a seldom-active fighter now.
It's like a famous band. Once they stop putting out records & touring, people don't start hating them. They have the body of work to look back on and appreciate.
It was bad ass when pac was always in the news for exciting past/upcoming fights. Now, it's just past fights.
Same with Floyd. People that don't like his defensive style after he hurt his hands can go back and enjoy his offensive masterpieces earlier in his career.

i was a fan of his until the whole may negotiations went south. him and his excuses for not taking blood tests, ONLY to take them years later. had pac agreed to the random blood tests the 1st time around, it would have been an epic fight.

1-He lost to Floyd and they tried to make excuses and it didnt work at all

2-So they then jumped to GGG and or Kovalev and turned into Ward haters

3-If Ward beats Kovalev they will keep this fantasy up of Ward ducking GGG to fight Kovalev(if that even makes sense)

1-They thought Broner was the next big thing because the woman beating, PED abusing idol told them so

2-The overrated hype job fought someone eventually who they could not rob out of a victory so Broner lost

3-They disowned Broner and pretended they never were fans in the first place and all of a sudden they became Ward fans so they can protect their inner little fantasy that their fighter with an 0 is so superior
