luke's been fighting this level of opponent for so long that this almost feels like a rematch...
i guess i cram all the euro's together too much..didnt matthews fight for flanagan's strap?
nontheless it's a step back from the mendez fight.
luke might just forever be a regional star and the promo team knows it
That's why Crolla stands out. Anthony lost to Derry, but I'd bet on Crolla today. No duck in him. He stepped up and now he's stepping up again. He might lose again, but he's no phony. He's not trying to hang on to a paper title.

losing to derry is pretty low **** lol...not huge on crolla but i do respect wat he's doing..i think linares wins...and i also think the columbian he fought was sorta tainted with over in the UK...just my opinion...no 135lber is gassing without taking punishment for 4 rounds...it was insane, but wat is done is done.

Like I said, he might lose again, but he's not hanging onto that title with no risk, waiting for a payday fighting stiffs. The winner of the Linares fight will be the top dog at lightweight, unless you have another candidate.
