Joseph Parker: People seeing what isn't there

This reminds me of the Charles Martin situation again.

Nobody will admit it now (they never do after the fact) but people were going on about charles Martin having all these "skills" and that he could punch and his southpaw stance was nightmarish etc (note : SOME people)

And I was like nah I've seen every one of his fights and Joshua is going to smash him up he just doesn't have anything to offer.

It's the same with Joseph parker.

Don't get me wrong joshua is very beatable, but it's not going to be parker and anyone who's seen him fight should realize that.

I think once again it's a case of people seeing these phantom skills that mean these guys must be feared. Parker has looked average repeatedly at middling level and hasn't gotten any better since beating botha like 3 years ago. He's found his level.

Joshua's level is way north of parker's and he's been improving.

    I agree Earl.

Parker ain't bad, I think he's a fine gatekeeper at best. If anyone is beating Joshua it'll be Wilder or winner of Fury-Klitschko (probably Fury)

As opposed to Joshua, who hasn't even fought someone at middling level before?

The closest he's come to a decent opponent was an overweight and sluggish Whyte, and Whyte rocked him.

You're only defeating yourself dude by talking about strength of opposition - Joshua has zero.

Anyway, stop flossing your teeth with AJ's nut hairs, it's getting creepy. You'll miss out on appreciating a good fight if you're too busy spreading your cheeks.

I'm talking about parker looking average against haumano level opponents.

I know kiwis can never accept it when foreign sports people are better (I mean you guys said shane Cameron was the new mike tyson)

But in this case might be better to accept it early.

I don't rate Parker but i'd still say beating Takam is better than any of Joshua's wins. Also, i'd be surprised if Joshua's next opponent is better than Parkers (Dimitrenko).

I know that when you want to learn about boxing you go to those experts, Hillary Barry, Craig stannaway etc who really know the game.

And I know you've heard how Carlos Takam is this George Foreman type guy who everyone fears, and that Alexander dimitrenko is this Russian superhuman like a real life ivan dragon who everyone (except Eddie chambers) is ducking.

But man I'm just warning ya, it's not gonna happen man.
