    Hahahahahahaha can't stop laughing!

Kovalev, you can make a strong argument for being near the top.

    But Tyson Fury number 4??

Either Froch doesn't understand the P4P concept, or I want to meet Froch's dealer now.

I believe so, and did he flip a coin or roll dice to pick his P4P?.

With Kovalev, there's a couple of other names in his division that you could say are close to him for being the best. Ward might beat him, but he shouldn't be considered in the p4p list until then as he hasn't done a thing for almost half a decade.

Kovalev has beaten better opposition than GGG and Chocolatito, so i'd say it's fair to say he's above them.
First of all P4P is not only resume but also skill...as others have mentioned Kovalev is not even close on being as skilled in the ring or dominanant vs. elite compitition....you are talking about a guy that has been fighting good opposition for only three years ; RG is going over a decade across mutliple weights vs. the best of each divisions he fought at and lineal -- Kovalev has yet to face one lineal champion or even cleaned out a division. You can argue that 175 is better than 112 at the moment now that Ward is in the picture however you cant say that 175 is better than the following divisions combined: 105,108,112, and now 115 thats Gonzalez legacy vs. Kovalevs one win vs. old man Hopkins.

Roman is a great talent but he fights on ggg's undercard and there isn't any real p4p challange at that weight idk why he's considered #1.
fights on ggg's undercard? what a dumbass bases as to how to rate ones p4p ranking

until kova and ward fight , roman is the p4p king.

You need a new signature. And the basis or premise of my post is that Pacquiao and Floyd have fought already. And you saw who won.

"my sig is only statements of the past greats" it does not change the fatc that the pac (got ktfo cold) vs may fight was 6 years too late

still your way of ranking p4p is way off

I was just pointing out the obvious, and I haven't ranked any pfp fighters.

As boring of a fight as it was, he handedly beat the #1 fighter in the heavyweight division. A fighter who ruled over the divison with an iron fist for a decade.

That win deserves merit. It's the only thing he's done, but what he did in terms of legacy and P4P ranking, is HUGE! That is undeniable.

A P4P list changes all the time and you're only as good as your last fight. As of right now, Fury does belong in the top 10.

I don't know about Kovalev being that high on the list. He's clearly the top light heavyweight, but his resume isn't that deep. He's only been fighting top guys for the past few years. If he beats Ward, he's pretty much #1 if not #2.

And I believe when 2 fighters on opposite sides of the weight spectrum go head to head for a P4P spot and it's close, the heavier guy should beat the smaller guy for the spot. A heavier fighter is always more impressive from my point of view.
