    Choi Chol Su: What happened?

Choi Chol Su is something as rare as a North Korean professional boxer with residence in North Korea. His professional record is 3(3)-0-0 and he won gold in the Olympics in Barcelona, 1992. His professional career was weird. He had a fight in 1996, then in 1998 and then in 1999. Then he just disappeared. He was a promising boxer from the most secretive state in the world. Does anyone know what happened to him?

Found this on him but nothing too much
Every so often we, as boxing fans, stumble on something new, something we didn't know about and something that just happens to peak our interest. It could be that we find out a fighter is from our...

Weird. North Korea is a weird ass country doe. This seems like a bad backstory to a boxing movie.

Looks like from what he did in that Olympic bracket & then in his 3rd fight vs Sammy Duran he coulda made some sorta mark as a pro if given a better shot at doing it. Although maybe it was his call on rolling things back who f#cking knows I guess.
