    DUVA wining about IBF's eliminator

    It's funny that when Sultan called out Sam, there were no comments from Duva or Peter.

    Now that IBF asked someone esle to fight Sultan, they are blaming IBF for them being a chicken.

    DUVA TO IBF: NOT SO FAST, SAM PETER IS AVAILABLE!
    By G. Leon

    Moments ago Dino Duva informed **********.com that his charge, world class heavyweight contender Samuel Peter, was unjustly bypassed by the IBF, when the Jersey based organization ordered the Sultan Ibragimov-John Ruiz eliminator. "Samuel Peter is available, and there's no reason he shouldn't be included in any mandatory eliminator." Duva also told **********.com that he plans on protest the IBF's decision. Peter's team did respond to him...

      In response to Boris Grinberg’s comments to Steve D’Amato, in which he stated that Sultan Ibragimov (19-0, 16 KO’s) would be facing Samuel Peter (26-1, 22 KO’s) in an IBF eliminator this summer, 15rounds.com contacted Peter’s manager, Ivailo Gotzev.

      “I have not seen a contract.” stated the Gotzev. He continued by saying, “It is interesting for him to say that because Samuel would be the ‘A’ side. If this fight comes off, it would be a great fight for us to win but I have not been offered anything officially from his promoter.”

      When asked about Samuel Peter’s near future, Gotzev responded by saying, “We are currently waiting to hear from the IBF.”

      Sultan Ibragimov is coming off of an impressive victory over Lance Whitaker; knocking him down three times en route to a technical knockout victory.

      Samuel Peter is coming off a bulldozing of Julius Long; knocking him out in the first round this past Friday night.

      Ivailo Gotzev became one of boxing’s fastest rising managers. He also manages WBO heavyweight champion Serguei Lyakhovich.

        that's a bull**** response -- "we heard nothing" kind of crap;

        they could have said "bring it on" in response to Ibragimov;

        it is clear they have chickened out
