Seven years? It only took a year and the Thurman vs Brook is no longer creating any buzz. It's gone. They all want Garcia, but Danny is not interested.

The media needs to dig deep why the best fights are not happening.

They can start with why Garcia is becoming a one fight a year fighter.

        Yes.

Fighters need to start growing balls and so do promoters.

As much as I'd like to see GGG go to 155, the same can be said that Canelo is doing what he criticized Mayweather of doing; cherry picking and avoiding the best available fight.

They're all to blame. I don't care how they do it, they need to get it done

At the rate we're going, that's what it's going to take.

I'll be an old ass grandpa before half these fights get made.

          Walters vs Loma
          Loma vs Rigo
          Juanma vs Gamboa
          Kovalev vs Stevenson
          Canelo vs GGG
          GGG vs Ward
          Stevenson vs Beterbiev
          Garcia vs Broner
          Crawford vs Pac
          Crawford vs Garcia

I can do this all day. A bunch of fights we'd love to see or would've love to see that simply didn't and won't happen.

UFC doesn't have that problem and they're utterly destroying boxing at the moment and I hate it because I'm a boxing fan first and foremost. Always have, but I can't support the sport the rate we're going

By the time you reach grandpa stage, all these current top fighters would have been replaced with another set of cherrypicking divas. It's a vicious cycle. That's why most of these fantasy fights will never become reality considering fighters fight twice a year or less.

Guys need to become more active.

PBC has everything they need to bring boxing back. Can you imagine the following fights in one year:

              Garcia vs Thurman
              Garcia vs Broner
              Garcia vs Spence

              Stevenson vs Beterbiev

              Spence vs Broner

              Peterson vs Porter

Mikey Garcia vs Robert Easter Jr

                Joshua vs Wilder
                Wilder vs Fury
                Jacobs vs GGG
                Pacquiao vs Crawford
                Rigo vs Loma
                Canelo vs GGG
                Crawford vs Broner
                Canelo vs Andrade
                Beterbiev vs Stevenson
                Spence vs Garcia
                Spence vs Broner

People say boxing is dead and that the UFC has surpassed boxing. Maybe they're right. The UFC doesn't have this problem of the best not facing the best.

Boxing has this problem because promoters try to take their stars and maximize their potential earnings by matching them against guys they'll easily beat while earning maximum profit. All the while this makes business sense financially, but its completely ruined the sport.

I'm tired of "building" fights. I'll be 70 years old by the time I see 5 good fights. This is bullschit. The best needs to fight the best. Point blank period.

No more Floyd Mayweather business models
I just wanted to say thank you to the boxing God's for making 2017 very pleasurable and honorable to be a fan

Well done promoters, match makers and advisors. Well done

                  Spence vs Brook
                  GGG vs Jacobs
                  Broner vs Garcia
                  Klitschko vs Joshua
                  Canelo vs Chavez
                  Thurman vs Garcia
                  Vargas vs Berchelt
                  Frampton vs Santa Cruz
                  Ward vs Kovalev 2

                  and still to come:
                  GGG vs. Canelo
                  Lomachenko vs Rigondeaux

Holy **** what a list of fights. I know a lot of them weren't as exciting as we'd have hope for but those were all big matchups with top fighters fighting each other and fights which we have beem calling for for a long time!
