Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua To Make Next Defense on November 26

Anthony Joshua has revealed the date on which he will return to the ring. The Olympic gold medal winner at London 2012, who has been working with the BBC as part of their coverage of the Games in Rio de Janeiro, hasn't fought since retaining his IBF world heavyweight title on June 25 at the O2 Arena.

Isn't Bermane fighting Povetkin for a interim title or whatever? And isn't Parker looking towards more fights before fighting Joshua? Pulev would be a good guy to fight doe.

If Bermane can get a direct shot at Joshua for a title, why take a chance with Povtekin likely for less money?

          Probably Pulev.

I can't imagine Kubrat winning, he's durable but not too difficult to hit, and Joshua has power.

It will take a boxer with good defensive skills to beat Joshua.

Anything less than Pulev is unacceptable. He's clearly the most credible option right now and Joshua needs a guy like that to solidify himself as a genuine contender. Beat Pulev and Parker and he's a top three heavyweight unquestionably.

I wonder which stiff he will fight next. I think Chris Arreola is available.

Looks like Pualev cause Steverine was ordered to fight Povetkin for the WBC 1 slot and the New Zealand guy will fight again before November.

Got a gut feeling it ends up being Price or Molina. This date sucks though, last week of CFB regular season. Wish it had been a week earlier.

Edit: That's the Ward/Kovalev date though isn't it? Too bad. Will be the first Joshua fight I've missed since Sprott.
