Clarissa best bet is to start training wrestling and Jiu Jitsu, Boxing promoters never cared about womens boxing, look at Holly Holm, Holly Holm was a pretty white girl who could box and was a champion but never even fought on a big time boxing ppv undercard.

Idk about that. There is nothing going on for Shields in MMA cuz she's too big. Cyborg Santos gets **** on cuz she can only get down to 140lbs instead of 135lbs which is the highest UFC womans division weight limit. Shields boxes at 165lbs. There are rumors the UFC will be adding another womans division soon, but the rumor is it'll be 125lbs to split the difference between their 115lb & 135lb divisions right now. There isn't any depth at 155 or 170 which are the two most likely divisions Shields would fight at in MMA. The UFC is a long way off if they ever were to have those divisions for women.

Now there is the possibility that Bellator could pick her up. As they have more of a circus atmosphere & if something is gimmicky enough or used to be a big name or could be a big name in the future they will take a risk on so its possible Shields could get picked up by them. Then again wtf does Shields know about other fighting styles? From what I know of her she's only trained boxing. Although with the lack of depth at 155 or 170 for women boxing alone might be enough for her to run through the division.

All that speculation in another sport aside I've heard that GBP is looking into signing her & that Stephen Espinoza has also suggested he'd like to have her on Showtime so she might be able to make some money in boxing too being that no men are winning gold medals & she's the first US Olympic boxer to win two gold medals.

That is true. 2 womens Olympic medals might be worth 1 male Olympic bronze medal if we were to come up with a male to female medal conversion rate.

And womens boxing isn't something I can see getting popular anytime soon in particular when its bigger women like Shields cuz as much as their is a lack of depth in womens boxing there is virtually no depth in the bigger divisions so who is she fighting that anyone is gonna care about? I'm sure she'll find someone to pay her with hopes that they can parlay her gold medals into something in the pros like DiBella is trying to do with Heather Hardy, but my money is against Shields getting very far.
