as much as people dislike arum and top rank, he's been known to build the biggest stars from scratch as long as he has the HBO platform to play with. but these days it's a free for all. that's why i suggested in another that he join ringstar promotions. as shady as richard schaefer is, he's a dedicated man with good intentions.

I like what Haney is doing as far as building his own brand and kinda using different promoters on a fight by fight bases. He haven't signed with anybody, also Haney post all of his fights on his youtube channel. I think that is what Stevenson should do as well for the first few years of his career. Don't sign to any Promotion at all not even with Mayweather!

all he wanted to do was buy golden boy from oscar at a high price (along with haymon) and let oscar continue to be the face of the company while sitting on the sidelines getting paid to do nothing. that's not really that shady. he knew as well as the business partners (AEG) that oscar was a recovering drug addict and alcoholic.

No thats not all he did he also failed to do his job and sign fighters like he was supposed to do.

Being the son of a very successful attorney here in chicago. I would get the best representation. Get myself the best contract and go from there. This guys is so talented and already full of exposure that he dont need someone like floyd to rep him. Sign with a competent promoter. Schaefer, DiBella, Arum, even Haymon(he's pretty much a promoter, let's be honest).
