No he didnt . Shakur is a good kid , but he clearly lost that fight and even admitted it.

He froze up under pressure , he still has a bright future.
He would be smart to sign with top rank where he can get sparring with donaire walters and lomachenko.

The kid failed to score off his jab and the opponent neutralized his reach by pressure.
The kid is very talented but he likes room to set up his shots and the Cubano
kept solid pressure to nullify the reach edge.

Amateur boxing is a very tough situation to be in!You have limited time to establish yourself and the nerves get intense and make the body fatigued.
At 19 years old he will be a junior lightweight soon and a lightweight by 22 years old. The freedom from making weight at tournaments prior to every fight will be a blessing for this kid!
In the Nationals you fight every day for a week and you have to make weight every day too! Not an easy task for young men to go through.

Both were very good boxers!
