He did not outland Stevenson...he was only looking busy while Shakur was landing jabs and counters.

Shakur will definitely be the better pro.

On another note, I really respect Skakurs humility with the loss. No excuses and gave respect to the Cuban.

          According to compubox tweet.

"Ramirez was busier in the decisive third round, out throwing Stevenson, 63-45. Out landing Stevenson, 18-17. "

For a 19 year old he looked good. I think he'll have a good pro career.

Gutted for shakur been following him on instagram for a couple of years honestly thought he was destined for gold but the cuban outworked him in the third. I hope one day they meet in the pros and i get to watch 12 rounds of that technical work

Shakur just didn't let his hands go enough. Even he admits that you have to win these things clearly to leave no doubt, and he didn't do that.

Still proud of the kid. He held his own against a more experienced and decorated Cuban fighter. He's got a bright future ahead.

As for USA Boxing: they are bringing back home a bronze and a silver. That's a far cry from our glory days but at least they didn't get shut out like last time. Nice to see an improvement at least.
