I hope he signs with Floyd. Floyd was about the same age when he turned pro. And in a lil over a year, he fought the best guy in his division. If he wants to sell Shakur as the "Next Floyd Mayweather", the kid will have to be on a fast track. Instead of spending the next 3-4yrs, and 20+ fights fighting guys that are worse than anything or anybody he's faced since before he was fighting internationally as an amateur. Guys like Rigondeaux and Lomanchenko have had success recently as fast track pros. But both were much older than Shakur. Him being as young as he is, and as big a upside as he has. Promotera are gonna wanna protect him. They may try and politrick him into a bogus paper title early in his career. Much like Anthony Joshua at heavyweight. But he won't be put in any risky fights early on. I don't think Floyd would take that approach.
