It is my opinion that he matches them against easier foes and gives them better TV dates (even if undeserved) against low quality opposition. He also ensures that they get the decision in a close fight, whereas he wouldn't bat an eye for a fighter like Leo Santa Cruz.

As I mentioned, there's nothing wrong with Al Haymon looking out for his people. He's in a position where he's able to do such, and I don't blame him. In fact, if he wasn't doing what he's doing he'd probably be labeled an "Uncle Tom" by his peers. But he should remember that he doesn't only have AA fighters in his stable. He as a wide variety of diverse fighters who all need to eat just as much as his beloved AA fighters do.
