If I lay any $$ on this I might bet it goes the full 12. Golovkin is obviously not a 1 punch KO artist, he beats and pounds until his opponent breaks. I'm really interested in seeing this fight. Take the weight factor out of the equation, and just based off of styles, I see a pretty tight contest. If Brook doesn't fight scared I won't be surprised if this goes 12.

I think Kell will look good for a couple of rounds, and that he does have a chance at going to decision. He is a skilled boxer who knows how to handle himself.

Do I think he'll win? No, I'm expecting a TKO, but perhaps in the later rounds.

If your chin is suspect fighting at X pounds then it probably isn't going to be reinforced any by fighting at X+y pounds.

yeah, i doubt its going to be 'better' as such but never know. Unlike glassjaw khan, brooks got a good chin though to begin with.

You'd probably say Brooks has got a solid chin but not a rock hard concrete jaw. I think he'll be protecting his jaw and a knockdown will come courtesy of those strange looping overhands that thud against the side of the head - very difficult to defend against those.

Also, to slow Brook down I'm sure Golovkin will be jabbing and hooking to his body a lot, but Brook is very well conditioned so it might be a few rounds before he starts to feel those.
