Like I stated in another thread.... This fight is going to bomb! Canelo is still facing severe backlash for ducking GGG and to top it off, nobody even knows who this Liam Smith guy is! I've been watching boxing since 1986 and dont even know what this guy looks like.

Unless they give out thousands of free tickets, this arena will be half empty!

The strange thing is they're saying Canelo might fight in December at 160.

Given the fact i doubt GGG v Canelo would have happened until late this year if it was gonna happen, what difference would a couple of months have made? why couldn't he fight GGG at 160 then if they can fight at the weight after the Smith fight?

This has been the most blatant duck in recent times.

I'd laugh if Smith smashes him. I can see it not being quite as easy as Canelo and his team think.

yeah i dont think smiths amazing, but dont think canelo is either, is a B fighter versus a B+ fighter. Plus you never know with an undefeated fighter, smith may have another gear he can go up into.
