Comments Thread For: Kell Brook Working With Local University For Golovkin Test

Sheffield's Kell Brook is leaving no stone unturned as he heads up to 160lbs from 147 in a bid to take Gennady Golovkin's WBC, IBF and IBO titles. Brook held the IBF title down at light-welterweight and plans to skip 154 entirely to take on the challenge of his boxing life against the consensus number one in the division.

.....yep, to get KTFO. This is a terrible mismatch and one that has made GGG look very bad.

It won't matter when GGG lands solid.

Not entirely sure if you’re pulling my leg or not, but, how do you know it’s a weight he’s comfortable at if it’s somewhere he’s never fought before? And if that’s the case (him always being a middleweight), why on earth have they spent all that time since the Porter win killing themselves to make 147 to face the likes of Gavin, Jo Jo Dan, Shenchenko, etc.?

I understand you’re a GGG fan and feel the need to justify this fight, but please, don’t waste your energy. It’s a horrific mismatch. And on September 10th you’ll find out why GGG has no concerns of travelling to the UK.

He should start eating some Special K, lol.

I also think its funny the article says "leave no stone unturned", when Brook is roughly a Stone overweight
