This is in the top 3 ducks of all time. How do you tell a guy that you're willing to put the gloves on right now and fight, and say that Mexican's dont F around, then run back down to a lower weight class after agreeing to fight him next!

talking to alot of non canelo mexican fanboys they tell me "canelo es un sacaton" which tranlsates to a coward. they also say "grandes peleadores mexicanos no hacen esas mamadas" which translates to the great mexican fights never messed around with that b.s.".....Only fanboys will respond he needs to earn it. amongst the mexican boxing community at least half in not more have turned against canelo's diva attitude. blame fishnet boy for that

Mexican fans never liked Canelo though, this whole GGG situation further adds to their agenda. The fact he was pushed by Televisais primarly the reason he's always been seen as a "manufactred star". The truth is he's taken more risk than mostly all active fighters. Hopefully they work out a deal for the GGG fight next year.

I find it funny how easily Mexican Greats are forgiven for their diva attitudes. Morales making his opponents wear pillow gloves is always overlooked as well as Chavez quitting against Oscar and not wanting to continue after a cut in the second Randall fight opting to go to the cards. Marquez fighting Alvarado instead of Provodnikov could also be seen as cowardly, that would have been a great fight and a proper way to go out .

Even average mexican fighters like Angulo, who recently went in on Alvarez, showed tremendous balls quiting against Lara. The same Lara who fought through that same injury against Williams. Hell Chavez Jr. is more respected from what i've seen even though he just quit on his stool.

It's part of the price you pay though, being a popular fighter at such a young age before proving your worth.

I'm sure he's still getting lit up on twitter and Facebook. Canelo has to sleep in the bed he made. No one forced him to open his mouth about GGG after his last fight.

This fight is going to bomb and bomb terribly. I'm a boxing diehard and I can't even pick this Liam guy out of a 3 man lineup.

Unless they start giving out thousands of free tickets, the arena is going to be half full if they're lucky. I hope Canelo doesnt have a large guarantee in place or else GBP is going to take a big loss on this fight. I say it does no more than 125k buys, and even that is a stretch.
