Did I miss something? Why are people talking like Lara agreed to fight Andrade and instead he picked Culcay?

Actually taking this fight can puts him in Position to get to Lara and he won't have to ASK for a fight instead the WBA can just order it because I don't see either current champions at 154 fighting Andrade Voluntarily

Yep. I have near zero interest in this fight as I do Spence vs Bundu, but those fights aren't made to be interesting, those fights are being made to make an interest mandatory fight in the future. Sometimes with these alphabet groups you gotta do that.

And yea I can't see why Andrade wouldn't take this fight wherever its at...Germany, US or China.

Yeah you missed how andrade turned down Lara. Yet andrade keeps mentioning Laras name. In the video Lara said they recently offered Andrade a contract and he ddnt sign it

Charlo is a player in the division (or should I say had potential to be a player in the division at the time of those fight talks). Culcay isn't nobody & he gets Andrade the position he needs to be in.

Plus that was awhile ago. I'm sure Andrade is smarter now than he was then. Although outside of Kirkland, Andrade is my favorite fighter to imply is ******ed so who f#cking knows, but seems likely this happens to me at this point.

I think Andrade is weary of Lara's running style. Andrade needs to get people (endorsers, networks, and fans) behind him right now and the last thing he needs is a boring ass marathon with Lara.

I think he intends to fight Lara (which is why he taking a fight that makes him Lara's mandatory), but I think he only intends to do that after he dethrones the Charlo Bro's and/or Jrock. This is what I think he meant by Lara being the last resort.

Conversely, if he loses to one of the Charlos or Jrock, then he will use the mandatory position he has on Lara to try and get back in the mix by fighting and beating Lara.

He aint scared of Lara, but he doesn't want him right now.

If he wasn't mandatory for any of the other belts I think he would have jumped in there though. I also don't think it's a good idea to fight Lara so soon after a two year lay off. I think Lara's team want him now because they know he's only gonna get more and more dangerous if he stays active.
