how dumb do they think the boxing public is? manny is going to be hitting him with 1 2's and staying out of vargas range the entire fight. its going to be one those fights that manny prob wins 10 rounds minimum of 12 if he doesnt finish him. the only think his adviser is confident of is that manny will box vargas ears off and look good doing it.

No way I buy this fight, but I'm hoping Vargas gets a KO. It could elevate his status among the top of the WW division.

When did fighting a current full world title holder who is ranked in the top 10 in your division a trash fight?

It's not the best fight but its a solid fight. Manny is 38 years old and the fight is only two months away. Its a good test for both guys. It will show if Manny is still top notch or he's over the hill and a new prime young champ takes his place.

Should be a classic old school Pac vs Mexican brawl.

Vargas gets no respect and it's sad because he's done everything right to get his shot. Almost pulled the upset against Bradley. Chased Bradley around trying to get his rematch and he couldn't get it. Fought Ali and looked impressive with the KO to get the belt. Signed to go overseas to fight Brook for a unification and got stood up. Vargas deserves the fight. We gotta stop rewarding guys who just run their mouth (Broner) and reward guys who are actually trying to make fights.

I wonder if they'll let him take a painkiller right before fight, ya know, just in case he severely tears his rotator, during the fight...

Not exciting, just Vargas getting tagged all night like Rios did. Vargas will leave himself open all night because he will be going for a knockout.

How many exciting wars has Vargas been in and how many has Manny been in recently?

So I am going to go with no on that front, decent boxing match but people should not be expecting scintillating action.
