Joshua vs Kyotaro Fujimoto in Japan should be next in the Tokyo Dome next to 42,000 people

Maybe, but he does more PPV buys in the UK than Canelo and Pacquiao currently do in USA and more than Floyd v Berto did.

Do you think he's going to do those numbers in USA at $70 a pop? I'm not so sure.

At the end of the day, American's are barely getting behind Wilder, nevermind a British fighter in the same division.

I don't think it will be a situation like Lennox, where all his big fights after getting a title happened in the US. We'll probably only get to see Joshua in the states when it's huge showdowns against American fighters. He's just too big in the UK already. He could legitimately fight Price or Chisora and fill Wembley I think.

That's where Hearn's money is at. Even looking at endorsements. He'll make a lot more in endorsements if he can sell to the U.S. market rather than just the U.K. market.

My point is he doesn't have to do the same numbers because the price is higher. He can do 200k here and make more.

Hadn't thought about the endorsement side. Wonder what endorsements he's doing in the UK right now. 20 years ago he could've been HUGE in the States, now I'm not sure what the ceiling is, just isn't the same draw here for boxing any more

That's why I say he needs to raise his profile. Good looking guy with a british accent. Hollywood would love him if he were an actor.

I agree. And I don't think Showtime gots much work to do. Joshua sells himself. Looks like a f#cking superhero. 100% KO percentage. I think they throw him in with some guy on Showtime, maybe headline him on some PBC card on national TV. Then maybe Showtime again than some US PPV vs Wilder, Fury or Klitschko. If he wins those fight + the PPV fight like he's been winning by KO he'll be in good shape & probably doing 500k PPV's per fight or better after that putting him at the top of the PPV stars or among the top 2 or 3 depending on how things work out with Canelo & others between now & then.

And he' a good looking guy. I know I keep saying that, no ****, but when was the last time a heavyweight boxer was a sex symbol? All he has to do is get spotted with Rihanna and he'll be all over TMZ the next day.
