This poor guy will not have his moment anytime soon. I envision step aside fees and pointless fights over the course of the next year or two.

As talented as he is, he'll just be another heavyweight in a Wilder/Fury/Joshua world.

He's got the talent to be a Muhammad Ali and then some.
Up there with one of the most moronic statements I have heard

So Luis Ortiz is happy with the money and opportunities Golden Boy has provided. But "Dade Promotions" (who I have never heard of before today) want full control of King Kong now.

These Cubans need to become more business savvy and stop tying themselves down to companies like Dade and Caribe.

His promotion has been absolutely abysmal. This guy should be a big name at this point..

Id actually want to hear what ortiz thinks about all this. Would there be a lawsuit if he would want to stay with gb?

Ortiz is already older really don't have the time to play this waiting game to get out of a bad promotional deal

I hope these younger guys are learning and watching. I see why Mikey Garcia is reluctant to commit to anybody this boxing business seems like a JOKE! You get in these traps with promotions and they won't let you out of it.

It's the Cuban boxer syndrome . If you want to make some money invest yourself on a semi decent Cuban fighter buying their soul by getting them out of Cuba or early after they get to the US for a few thousand dollars you can get them on a ****** contract that they will sign away no matter what just to gtfo. Fkind dade promotions wtf is that.

This is sad because Ortiz is a good fighter and not getting any younger. The longer this takes and he has to sit, the worse he'll be for it.
