The best thing that could happen for the long term is that Brook actually does well against GGG and makes him look beatable. That should enable the fighters who have been ducking GGG to grow a pair and agree to a fight.

Guys Brook has a fight to sell so go easy on him.... He has to say these things.

What else is he going to say? the truth that there's no chance of him being able to handle Golovkin's power.

Surprisingly the odds only a 7/1 odds in favor of ggg. I thought it was gonna be like double that at least and some are drifting towards 5/1 so it's not that big of a mismatch. I normally trust bookmakers odds more than what I read from random people online. To put it into perspective it's the same odd as postol Crawford and many thought that was a 50/50 fight.

Brook's actions don't match his words. A confident man would train to win, not promise to train, or show up fat. A man resigned to his fate helps build the gate, promotes and boasts, but he's not skipping rope or meals. Kell is abusing the accommodations, it seems to be his style. He milked that title for more than three years.

I want to see the look on his face after the first flush left or right hook lands. Dude is going to be shocked, props to him for the confidence though.
