Hating on European boxers is lame. If Sergey beats Ward, I hope you give him the credit he is due.
I submitted evidence supporting my argument you stated your opinion great footwork is executing basic fundamentals he cant even do that...employing one effective technique ( in-out ) does not abolish all his other flaws.

And you have selective memory as I adressed this issue with you a few days ago and you conveniently ignored my comment ; I was rooting for Postol vs. Matthssye when you told me NOT TO PUT MONEY ON POSTOL ( remember?) I also told you I like James Degale and Amir Khan 'European' fighters just a few days ago...I like Latin American fighters also...you guys have a racial issue: you want to classify or profile me as pro black.... (sorry not happening) and associate me with a certain group of posters.

Kovalev's quick footwork is one of his major strengths, it enables him to box at range as well as back out of the danger zone. As I said he can also box on the backfoot.

Now will you give him full credit and acknowledge him as #1 if he beats Ward?

lol please, the cliche rooting against Matthysse. We know who does that on this forum and why, it doesn't need spelling out. Since you're a big Postol fan can we assume you were rooting for him against Crawford?

I didn't ignore anything deliberately, if I didn't reply it's because I went offline. There's no need to put European in speech marks either. DeGale born in London, half-white (if race was your implication) Khan born in North England, a proud Briton. Is Crawford "American" because his ancestors are from Africa?

I've seen your posts with others, you bring up race repeatedly before accusing other people of being racist, but I'm afraid the lady doth protest too much from your end.

DeGale born in London, half-white (if it really matters to you) Khan born in North England, a proud Briton. Is Crawford "American" because his ancestors are from Africa?

I will give Kovalev credit if he beats Ward fair and square in clear victory but honestly if he does its not so great and I'm not making it a big deal as Ward is the smaller man coming up in weight just to fight him specifically -- you don't see Kovalev moving up to fight cruiserweights sorry but thats whats going on here. I said the same thing when Mayweather beat Marquez and even your boy Ricky Hatton ; I mean it looks good on paper but its obvious who had the size advantage.

I was rooting for Crawford as I am also a fan of his also -- yes its possible to like both fighters but I had too make a pick so I went with whos more skilled : at least thats my crazy way of thinking....or did you think I based it on whos more darker in skin tone? hahahaha -- come on you know thats what you thought.

But the fact remains I shut down any anti-euro argument made against me with my track record ; the fact remains I put money on Postol when you said not too...now you twist it around and instead of waving the white flag you spin it implying something else....that I assume is rooted in race.

As far as bringing up the term 'European' everyone does this in-case you haven't noticed even the broadcasters acknowledge who is from where and what country, ethnicity ; tribe etc... but I'm suppose to ignore that? If a certain group is : corrupt , unskilled , below world level ( a term that even Brits use ) even creating a title called the 'European Champion' that ONLY EUROPEANS CAN COMPETE FOR ) and I call them out on the facts.....then maybe boxing is to blame for my ignorance.

They looked pretty similar in size in the ring last week, indeed Ward says he struggles to make 175.

Size to me is not the issue, but where I can agree is that outside of an Olympic gold medal Ward has no record of genuine substance at 175, that's on him though, he engineered it in that manner.

Ward has been inconsistent with the comments hes made about weight : first he says I cant make 168 or something like that, now hes saying hes struggling to make 175? I dont know I remember him saying he would be HW champion of the world too....but one thing is for sure hes been a career 168 pound fighter no debate in that -- last champion he fought was at the lower weight...I could be wrong but pretty sure.

That's the only knock I'd have on the win, Ward just might not be the same fighter at 175, possibly a little bit past prime too.

Still very skilled and fast though, I expect him to go well in the first half of the fight. Second half could open up for Kovalev.

Archie Moore retired in his 50's. Your argument is invalid.

According to boxrec he was 46 in his last fight -- Roy Jones and James Toney are still active whats your point? are you trying to say that age does matter? I think science can solve this mystery.
