A unification between featherweight champions Carl Frampton (23-0, 14KOs) and Lee Selby (23-1, 8KOs) is very possible, but won't take place until the spring of 2017 at the earliest, says Frampton.

Love this match-up. 126 is all about concurrent angles right now – if Frampton–Santa Cruz II happens or doesn't happen, whatever; I'm happy enough with the first one. Meanwhile, Russell Jr. can go and deal with his Lomachenko obsession.

Lomachenko is gone from the division.

If Frampton-Santa Cruz II does happen then how about if Russell Jr deals with Lee Selby next? Why are certain fans so scared of GRJ that they want him out of the way?

Selby can beat Frampton if the venue is in a neutral place...he'll out work Frampton and punish him, maybe even stop him...

Selby and Russell Jr. really didn't seem interested in each other during that SHO joint-interview. Angsty, sure, but more like dismissive instead of competitive or eager for a fight.

Selby was salivating over an all-UK Frampton fight, whereas Russell only wanted to make clear his mission to get Lomachenko in the ring again (which will mean moving up to 130).
