Comments Thread For: Kovalev: Andre Ward Fight Will Show Me What I Have, Who I Am!
IBF/WBO/WBA world champion Sergey Kovalev (30-0, 26KOs) is really looking forward to the upcoming fight with Olympic gold medal winner Andre Ward (30-0, 15KOs).
Andre Ward will beat the caveman clumsy Kovalev easily
Andre Ward will embarrass the commie Kovalev and win a decision easily. Kovie is crude while Ward is smooth.Stevenson is far togher for Ward than the awkward caveman commie Kovalev.

No one is going to take your word for it. You told us to bet Klitschko over Fury and you were horribly wrong
Unless your plan is to make people lose a lot of money then have fun

My bad I did not know Wlad was going to throw the Fury fight. Wlad made over $50 million on losing the fight. The Ukraine rebels made millions for arms also. When a champ throws a fight there isn't much one can do. I lost big also. But Fury loses this next fight.
Same as betting the NFL or college football games as one cannot factor in weather or injuries or turnovers.

Fluff Fury is a joke a large bowling pin shaped creme cake. That's why Wlad losing made it so obvious. Fury has no boxing talent just a big awkward lug. Wlad wins easy next time out. Setting up the third fight in Germany and keeping Wilder out of the title picture for another year and a half. Boxing is a game now run by greed and controlled by thieves. Bet Wlad thank me later.

Kovalev has to catch Ward one time to knock him out. If Brand caught Ward at least two dozen times, you don't think Kovalev can?

I was surprised Kovalev did not KO the very average opponent he faced. Andre will confuse Kovalev and keep Kovie off balance and chasing Ward for 12 rounds. It will be a learning fight for Kovalev. Kovie will come to destroy Ward while Ward will come to the ring to avoid Kovalev. Ward on a decision as the crowd boos Ward. It's all about money anyway. neither fighter is a draw with little fan support.

So then why did Ward duck Stevenson when Stevenson offered to go to Oakland and fight him at 168, and then come back to Quebec for the rematch at 175?
I agree Stevenson is a harder style for Ward and that's why if Ward actually beat Kovalev, he would duck Stevenson again and probably try to milk the Kov win for the next five years fighting the 50th ranked cruiserweight and 200th ranked heavyweight talking about how great he is the whole time.
Kovalev on the other hand has already made offers to Stevenson, Beterbiev, Hopkins, and now Ward. He has literally tried to fight every top guy in the division. Ward has never, and will never, do that. Most the duckers in this era have never, and will never, do that. Ward ducked Bute and Dirrell at 168, and he will duck Stevenson and Beterbiev at 175 if he gets past Kovalev, which for the sake of the sport and the light heavyweight division, we can only hope he doesn't.
