Jacob's thinks being a mandatory challenger to a major title is a curse rather than an accomplishment and rather than a blessing.

Fighters have given up belts rather than fight GGG, lets see if Jacob's makes history by being the 1st fighter to ask an organization to please remove him as a mandatory challenger to a title and and instead place him at the bottom of the rankings so there is not the slightest possibility of him getting in the position again where he would have to fight GGG.

I can't respect Jacobs until he demands a fight with GGG! Now that GGG is fighting Brook, suddenly "he's the guy I want!" I'm pretty sure GGG would have chosen Jacobs over Brook, had Jacobs (and the WBA) had called for the fight!

This coming from a guy who rather fight a washed up, lightly regarded, not ranked Sergio Mora. I mean Mora got injured and instead of fighting someone ranked immediately he waits for Mora to get well like if it was a fight fans have been clamoring for all year. This coming from a guy who is GGG's mandatory and still won't fight GGG. Usually a fighter would do anything to become a mandatory challenger for a title, but not Jacobs he rather defend his pathetic "unleaded" I mean "regular" WBA phony title. This coming from a fighter who will only mention GGG when it comes to Canelo, but himself fighting GGG, all we get is silence until now. So if he wants to fight GGG so bad why is he fighting Mora, he could of easily fought GGG this Fall. For Christs sake he is GGG's mandatory! Talk about the height of hypocrisy. I can't believe he actually went on the record to say such bull****

Actually, the hypocrisy is Jacobs initially saying no-way to a rematch... IOW a duck even before he left the ring for that fight. So, by those rules, Canelo can also say no now to GGG, and fight him later. Which he probably will do eventually.

Monday, September 12th - WBA mandates Golovkin/Jacobs
-We'll see how much Danny really wants to fight Golovkin

I'm thinking Sept 12 will be the beginning of duck hunting season if Jacobs miraculously beats Mora. Then GGG will be wondering where the ducks are.
