Wilder knows the fight isnt possible yet thats why hes calling him out . Boxing matches just dont materialise over night ,Joshua will fight his mandatory first and Wilder will pretend that he wants to figjht guys when they are already scheduled to fight other fighters .

Not possible? Joshua signed a deal with Showtime and Showtime execs said they want the fight. And when exactly will Joshua be fighting his mandatory? Last opponent I heard Hearn talking about for AJ was Hughie amd that they were trying to push the Parker fight until sometime in 2017.Wilder knows the fight isnt possible yet thats why hes calling him out . Wilder won't be back until late 2017 and that would be against a tuneup level opponent. Maybe in November or Decemer he will face a semi-legit foe.....he is going to need at least 1 or 2 tuneups to see how he holds up after the rehab.Comment

Fantasy land.....you do realise Wilder is out right? It wouldn't matter if Joshua fought Mickey Mouse it would have no bearings about nothing . Wilder calls guys out when either hes already scheduled to fight or the other guy is committed to another fight .Not possible? Boxing matches dont happen the next day ,Wilder strategically knows this ....just like when he called out Wlad and Fury when he knows there is a mandatory rematch with Fury ,hes a master dodger and ilike Wilder but thats a fact .
In the end it wont matter bc he will have to fight a live body by 2019.Last edited by juggernaut666; 08-13-2016, 10:24 AM.Comment

At this point with how badly played this whole substance Povetkin using situation has gone there seems to be a lot of butthurt & confusion all around so I think you gotta look at it as an option now. Hell man the WBC guy has yet to even make a c all on this despite saying it would be resolved in July about 7 f#cking times on 7 different occasions.
I wouldn't be surprised by Povetkin being put into an interim fight since Wilder is injured. I think Wilder's injury will avoid him getting stripped any time soon, but as long as Povetkin eventually makes out okay as far as the WBC guy is concerned than I think he'll fight for a interim belt.If he is out that long... does the WBC strip him? Make Povetkin fight for it against Stiverne?
Why? If he can fight Fury, Klitschko or Joshua next for more money & probably more acclaim (at least for Klitschko & Fury, Joshua might be more arguable). If Povetkin could get any of those fights I'd say that was a good move for him also.If Wilder wants his payday.... he should come back against Povetkin.
Although I suspect Ryabinsky's strategy at the beginning of this 2nd run at a title for Povetkin was to grab the low hanging champion at HW (Wilder) instead of get a rematch vs Klitschko right off & then be able to defend the belt a few times & perhaps unify vs Klitschko after he got a lil older. Obviously in the middle of that plan the entire HW status quo changed with Klitschko losing, Fury coming into play & quickly Joshua coming into play, but I still think if the low hanging fruit strategy applies they'd go after a interim belt shot that could led into full title status if Wilder eventually goes for a bigger fight vs these 3 main guys.Last edited by Eff Pandas; 08-13-2016, 10:55 AM.Comment

If they're not available the moment he comes off his fake injury, we won't wake, we'll find another cab driver to fight, we'll have no choice! Please don't blame us!

Yeah, Wilder's great at calling other fighters out. How many of them has he fought though?Wilder's been calling out AJ saying he wants him next and Eddie Hearn comes out saying that the fight needs to be built up
After his big knockout win last Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London, Anthony Joshua feels ready to take on any of the world’s elite heavyweights. In a first defence of his International Boxing Federation (IBF) heavyweight title, Joshua floored previously undefeated Dominic Breazeale twice in a comfortable seventh round knockout victory.
But yeah, its Wilder who doesn't want to fight.Comment
