I didn't know Ward had this side. He should show his personality more often to make him more entertaining, i.e. become a bigger name and be able to sell tickets somewhere beside Oaktown.

He's addressed this a few times, saying he's opposed to promoters pushing him into playing the Mayweather role (a pressure which has happened a lot in his career apparently). He acknowledges that it's more profitable but I think he's more concerned about how his family and friends see him portraying himself in public. I don't know that I'd do the same but I really respect the guy for showing integrity.

It's not even about him "playing the Mayweather role." I'm talking about him just opening up more and showing his personality. He seems to be one of those funny guys with a fast-processing brain where he can make semi witty comebacks and roast you. Just that side of him in an All Access or 24/7 type of show would be entertaining and make him more popular and therefore yield higher purses. The vibe I get from Ward by and large is he's just a serious, no games dude, who is easily irritated. In the video above he showed a fun side like a dude people like being around because he talks trash and is mentally stimulating.

His funny side. Showing he is not a serious dude all the time.

He seems like a cool funny dude but even though his charisma is lacking.
