I know Garcia hasnt fought at 135 yet but do you think the Marquez that TKO'd Casamayor would KO Mikey? They both have been dropped at smaller weights but comeback strong. Marquez never lost to a Chicano either. Who wins?

JMM can't get past a good jab. He loses a very wide UD.

In my opinion Mikey is extremely overrated and unproven. Marquez is an all time great. I think the Marquez who TKOed Casamayor would KO Mikey quickly and easily.

Lol yeah right. He has problems with quick footed fighters. Mikeys not twinkle toes. Easier to time. Getting hit by Marquez is way harder than Rocky Martinez.

Marquez loses against every elite fighter except Pacquiao (when hes on PEDs)
So yea anyone terrible enough to lose to chris john would lose against Garcia
Marquez is overrated, hes slow. The only thing hes good at is counterpunching on the backfoot

I mean, he didn't look spectacular against Casa, if we're referring to that performance specifically, but I'm still shocked at the opinions. What has mikey done to prove this? This is like waking up to find out people all of a sudden think eubank would've beaten Hopkins. Besides his size advantage, he wouldn't have anything else on Marquez. Slow feet, a far, far cry from Marquez's combination punching. I don't care how much al Bernstein and paulie the nut wanted to hype Rojas during the bout, he wasnt a "good boxer." That wasn't an impressive performance. The jab wasn't all that. So I don't see where this new found hype came from. I'd pick Marquez by decision.
