So, what happens if Joshua says it did in fact happen, and because of that, yeah he would give Price a shot? And BTW, the fight would make a stack of cashish in England. So why not? Price is well enough known. I would think for the money and notoriety, Joshua would probably agree to it.

Again, then why duck Price if Joshua is so much better? Good paycheck, easy fight.

What makes it sound like that? So many 'experts' who weren't even there.

Guys chin will always hold him back but I think that is his best bet. a 6ft8, 250 guy who can punch like he can shouldn't be fighting scared. He is just too much of a nice guy for his own good. I really do think his best bet is to be more aggressive, Joshua esque and look to land first.
Good advice. And I agree, he did look improved in his last fight. Probably not a world beater, but if he can keep improving, he'll be a force in the division.

Price brings up a good scenario though, and a way for the fight to sell well. I would say Price needs 3-4 more fighters before Joshua... a step higher in profile for each, get him ready, keep working on details, better defense, faster jab etc etc. No matter the outcome, it would be a fun fight to watch.

Lotta fans grind on Price, and most of it can be justified. But watching his last fight though, he looked better, solid trainer now, definitely improving. He has work to do, but I see no need to disparage the guy. Let him work at building himself back up. What's the harm? He's just trying to make a living. If he stumbles badly a couple more times, we'll know (as he will) that boxing just isn't his sport. No worries either way.

Put it into perspective, this was when the amateur game was a matter of point scoring and head gear. Not the pro style 10 point must and no headgear of today. You didn't need to load up to win fights, just connect. You'd still need to be defensively responsible but big bombs from undefeated pros would be well out of the ordinary. Just the year before this I went and seen Joshua win the 2010 abas, he was still very new to it then.

David price bringing this up is like eubank jr posting that vid of ko'ing that amateur who had yet to fight pro.

All i know is Jousha doesnt have the strongest chin.

Whyte hit Dave Allen with every punch in the book and he didnt buckle

Jousha buckled soon as Whyte landed clean

If Price lands i will not be shocked it Jousha gets taken out

So a novice pro and former elite amateur who is known for his punch ko'd someone who only stepped into a boxing ring 3 years prior?

            Shocker.

Its fair to say Joshua doesnt have a granite chin, not many at HW do. He has improved massively since he was an amateur, whereas Price has gone from disaster to disaster.

Please dont let them make this fight on the back of a 5 year old sparring story.

We'll that's if price can get through the improving 4 fights then yeah why not ...but we all know what the joshua hate brigade would say if he chose David price as a challenger....unless price becomes a wrecking ball knocks out some good heavies then it's not worthy IMO pointy.....to me he's suspect and damaged goods and one thing that shocked me to the core was when he got knocked by teper he showed a terrible lack of understanding distance and looked totally shot......we will see how far price go's this time

i dont care if price knocked him out ten times in a row in sparring, times have changed and as much as i dont think joshua is the next coming of mike tyson, this fight has joshua KO1 Price written all over it.

He's improved since Teper... granted a poor performance there and both Thompson fights, like I said criticism is warranted. And BTW, I for one think Joshua is the real thing, I just have doubts he can beat Ortiz or maybe even Haye or Wilder. I'm just glad there are some good potential matchups brewing at HW, and I won't yet leave Price out of the picture. Time will tell.
