Originally posted by Asian SensationPersonally, I'd have to say Pryor-Arguello I. They both gave it everything and Pryor just outwilled Alexis Arguello. Pryor was simply not gonna be denied, he went out there and tried to take what wasn't given to him. Arguello came back, but Pryor weathered the storm and finished him in 14 unbelieveable rounds. It had drama, nonstop action, controversy, and a brutal knockout. What more can you ask for?
Arguello-Pryor was one of my favorites.
Bennvs vs McCellan. Ending is hard to watch knowing what happens to G-Man.
Corrales Castillo is one of my favorites. Fight of century probably. Instant classic and dramatic ending. I was so choked in disbelief Corrales came back
Tito vs Hopkins. Finally shut up all those tito bandwagon fans.
Roy Jones vs Pazienza. Ow how dominant RJ was in that fight.....Last edited by ricecrispi; 05-05-2006, 12:26 AM.Comment

1. Taylor/Chavez I - Will always be the saddest, most drama filled, exciting fight for me. I can't get over what happened in that fight and have always somewhat held the events of that fight against one of my favorites in JCC, even if that happens to be unfair. Richard Steele should have been taken in back and put down with a large, venom-filled needle for that heartless call.
2. Toney/Jirov - Had other fights slated in here before, this one moved up in the last year. Toney just put on a masterful performance, well above his starting weight class and against the Cruiserweight king of his time. Toney showed just about every boxing trick in the book and showed why he's one of the greatest fighters of all-time. Maybe I'm a sucker for dramatic 12th rounds because this 12th round was one of the best rounds of recent memory.
maybe that's why my last fight is...
3. Morales/Barrera I - Two of Mexicos all-time best, squaring off against each other in their respective primes. Morales is another one of my favorite fighters and he and Barrera left it all in the ring that night. The 5th round is one of the best rounds of all-time. The 12th rolled around and Barrera was credited with that BS knockdown, but Erik fought through it and got a rightful decision. I had him winning 114-113...I have scored this fight a million times and have always gotten that score.Comment
