It sounds like you're a big Sergio fan. I guess that explains why we saw 2 different things.
Two of the first three punches landed fairly well, though not overpoweringly so. Archak then began backing away, so the force of the other punches until he got to the ropes were offset by his rearward motion. Once he got to the ropes, he was slippinng and rolling with the punches, again blunting their force somewhat. Not to mention the fact that the vast majority of the punches were missing.
I think Bird acted in the interests of Archak, knowing that he had been knocked out in his previous fight, but I think he excersized poor judgement in doing so because from the angle he was at he couldn't see that Archak was avoiding most of the punches and rolling with most of the others. He couldn't see that very few punches were landing either cleanly or effectively.
I think Mora was definitely going to win the fight, but it was still a horrible stoppage of an unhurt fighter who was defending himself quite well against a feather-fisted opponent.

Last night was a bull**** stoppage just to boost his rating.I can't wait for him to get into the ring with a real puncher who will catch his ass like the guy last night did in the second except does it over and over until the little snake lies motionless.
