I guess this makes more sense then a half filled T mobile arena and since it isn't in Oakland, Ward will not have the "home ring advantage" Freedom and others pretend is real.
i hope they stay in vegas..ny doesnt give a darn about either guy..oakland to vegas is the only fans they get except the hardcores that are coming...
but duva is a dummy man..it is official..chick hanging on to an agreement made with a man who has left the company...TIME TO PUT HEADS TOGETHER AND GET THE FIGHT MADE OR THEY ARE BOTH FUGGIN PUNKS..
kkkovalev has no fan base! His last fight in vegas had 3000 people with probably a 1000 tickets given away at the MGM for free! Oakland or new york will sell the stadium out!
... Oakland, doe!!! That's what I like -- at least you are sincere, doe...
New York would be great. Russian community in NYC is massive
You know, thats my thinking. I'm wondering why Jay Z would want to have it in NY when there is a large Russian population there that could potentially dominate the crowd and possibly influence the judges. I would think Roc Nation would want the fight as close to CA as possible for a strongly pro-Ward crowd. I dont think Ward KOs Kovalev so he would need the judges favor.
Im also wondering why this is an issue now. Ive been hearing for months now that T-Mobile was going to be the venue and wish this conversation had taken place earlier.
Some of us dont care whether its NV, NY, or a mall parking lot, we just want to see the fight
Hope to see all the over reactors on this message board. From the sound of things, RocNation is exploring what may be a more lucrative venue and Ward not attending the presser was a separate issue.

Most would say that a decision favors the American anywhere in the U.S. With that said, I disagree with that premise. I also believe that Ward wants the biggest platform he can get. The elites don't feed off the crowd. Especially cerebral boxers.
