Lomachenko has a loss to Salido. Salido is the fan favorite. Salido brings in the ratings and sells tickets. If Mayweather accepted being the B-side why can't Lomachenko accept the B-side against Salido? Avenging the loss and fighting in front of a large crowd in person and on TV will do more for Lomachenko than any fight against Pedraza, Corrales, or Sosa. Sometimes you have to dare to be great
Andre Ward got paid the same amount Lomachenko got paid his last fight and Ward more than doubled Lomachanko's attendance. Some fighters understand you gotta take pay cuts to make the fight happen. This is Wards third fight in a row he took a paycut from his guarantee to make the fight happen

"If Salido would have right now the WBC title and Lomachenko have WBO, that means something," continued Klimas. "He can ask for even more money than Lomachenko but right now he's not in the situation where to tell Lomachenko to 'give me more money and I will fight you.' F*** you. There are plenty of guys to fight before a Salido." "Listen, we have a (Jose) Pedraza, we have a (Jezreel) Corrales, we have (Jason) Sosa. We're aiming at champions. We're aiming to unify titles. That's our goal. I believe that's the goal for Top Rank I believe that's the goal of our team. That's what we want to do," stated Klimas.
