I dunno about Kovalev. Certain people with certain biases are ridiculing dominant victories over Hopkins who wast he 3rd best guy in his division, possibly second, wit ha world title and Pascal a former lineal lhw champion.

And yes, of course, Bradley, Khan and Canelo, could even add in DG, Fury (that Wlad win) and a couple others have better resumes than GGG. But...what doest his have to do with either guy?

Ward went to some fights as an underdog and won, can't say he didn't face anybody, he wasn't expected to come close to winning the super 6 and he won it, can't take that away from him.

Now he's getting ready to fight for the unified titles at the next weight division against a top 3 P4P fighter, yeah he took a long time off due to injusries and legal issues, but now he's back and fighting 3 times this year. Stop discrediting the man and give him his due respect.

His legacy is riding on this fight. I can't overstate how important it is for him. Coming off exile, moving up a division to fight the unified, undefeated prime champion at 175. And for Kovalev, fighting the last U.S. Olympic gold medalist, an undefeated former champion who amassed a pound for pound resume against a who's who of super middleweights. Both of their legacies are on the line.

1) who has has fought more world champions?

2) Who has actually defeated fighters who were considered p4p and/or elite

3) who won more titles/ belts IN THE RING?

4) who has moved up fought across more divisions and poundage?

5) who is younger and has less fights?

now you know the answers to these......answering these questions dont support your position/agenda

yeah, think ive told him and others a few times that i dont think GGG has got some amazing CV at the moment (obviously) but they choose to ignore that. They get very sensitive if someone dares question ward in anyway.
