Well you were wrong back then and the same applies now. Walters is one of the very best in the game in and around his weight.

Losing/quitting to one of the most skilled fighters of all time doesn't mean Walters was hype...it just means he, like many others have previously and will when they face Lomachenko were completely outskilled against like i said, on pure skills one of the most uniquely talented boxers this sport has ever seen. Lomachenko is that good, people in the amateur circles have been saying it for over a decade and now those in the pro game can see why.

No, I wasn't. Against Donaire he won a shoot out with a diminished fighter relying on one punch and he got rocked with that said punch only to be saved by the bell. He then won with an illegal blow to the back of the head(not that he meant it to be illegal). He then fights Sosa and again despite being the much bigger, longer and faster fighter, he gets drawn into a shoot out and survives on his chin and size with Sosa doing the better work for huge stretches.

I'm not saying he sucks but he was hype...he is not P4P potential. He has real power and good skills but I don't think he's elite.

Walters got a controversial draw against Sosa in a fight that he won. Sosa then went on to beat Fortuna, who all non-experts thought would beat Sosa.

Besides that, Walters is also big, strong and undefeated. Salido would probably last 5 rounds at most if he fought Walters.

I do think that Lomachenko MAYBE could go the distance against Walters, though. Lomachenko is very skilled and when he feels the pain, he will know how to survive.
Man, this has gotta hurt, deep. Haha. Never doubt the Loma monster again...

                    Ouch. Hahaha.

Walters could MAYBE go the distance with Loma, but he chose not to. Terrible call...
