Do better than Crawford!!! LMAO!!! MexiCANS buy fights. Don't EVER forget that. We are TRU FANS!!!
Never understood how this ****** comment came about, if MexiCANS buy fights why don't MexiCANS sell when they are not fighting anyone NOT named Mayweather, Cotto or PAC? It's the casuals who make up the bulk of PPVs.
Crawford is hardly an easy fight Bob but one just needs to pay attention to the styles to know Vargas is tailor made for Manny. Get some good undercards, the PPV numbers will suffer without them.
That's the problem bro, these so-called Tru Fans aren't one. They follow fighters based on their nationality or ethnicity. Casuals, gotta love them.

Now be a TRU FAN and spread the word.
Because it's not a #1 Mexican fighting another #1 Mexican so why would it sell?
Now when you look at fights against Floyd, pac, etc.
It was the best Mexican going up against another top level fighter of a different race so you know Mexicans is gonna come and support their guy heavy.

And how did you come up with the conclusion that PPVs are higher when a #1 Mexican is fighting another #1 Mexican, how often has that happened?
So if Mexicans show up to support in droves when a top Mexican is fighting one of the above mentioned fighters, how do you explain the PPV numbers when a Mexican is not fighting?
If it look like a duck, swims like a duck, and quack like a duck...
then it probably is a duck.
I wouldn't call it a duck - for one reason - Crawford isn't even a welterweight.
That said, Vargas is an easy win, even for a well past his prime Pac. Who would pay $ to see this fight?
Ihave been one of the biggest Pac fans since '03, but I surely won't. And it will be the first Pac fight I haven't purchased on PPV.
It is clear what the end game is here. Get Pac another 1 or 2 wins and hope to coax Floyd out of retirement with a rematch that they can all make a lot of money on.
Well, if that's the case, I surely hope that no one buys that fight either. I remember back in late '07 when they were talking about a rematch of Mayweather v de la Hoya. I remember thinking - why? and that fight, although pretty boring as well, was more exciting than Floy v. Pac (although despite that one being a split dec, I thought it wasn't that close. I had Floyd over both de la Hoya and Pac by 116-112).
Boxing fans have to take a stand. I did so by not ordering Mayweather v. Berto, I won't order this fight, and I won't order Pac v. May 2 if it happens.
