Agree totally with you. Ward looked faster and sharper and his defense was very good in his last fight. Brand said afterward that Ward had no power, but he seemed to have enough power for Brand to go into 100% survival mode. Interestingly after Ward's fight with Froch, Froch said his hands felt like he wasn't in a fight, like if he hadn't hit anything at all. If Ward's defense is better than it was in that fight, then Kovalev will have a tough time finding him too.

Ward will beat him. Ward has faced better opposition than anyone from 160-175 over the last five years. He has beaten them all. The Krusher didn't KO a 49 year old Bernard Hopkins, because of his cautious assault. Ward is not even close to that age.

if you aren't sure of yourself after 2 decades of anything, you need to retire.

Also looking at his last 2 fights, I actually think he has gotten better in some ways......he doesn't waste as much movement, he doesn't throw as many leaping shots, he also catches shots and counters a lot better...that stab jab is awesome, .watching the guy is like a boxing manual now, when he was coming up I felt like I was watching Jones and Hopkins after doing a fusion dance. Now he like mayweather from the last few years

Agree 100%. Ward is on the top of his game, and never looked better. After all he is BORN to be fighting at LHW - don't forget he was champion in amateurs. But you should be warned, there is a saying here - "Posle jebanja nema kajanja"
