How many divisions will Shakur be a champ in?

He's around 124 as an amateur, how successful can he be?

LOL lil early for this thread. Kid ain't even show what he's capable of fully as an amateur yet. Don't know how dedicated he is either. I definitely had Ricardo Williams pegged as a future champion & due to his side gig (selling drugs) that didn't work out so well. Not saying Shakur gots any issues like that, but beyond the obvious skill questions that are still underdefined there are intangibles that could highly impact his future which hasn't even started yet.

The sky is the limit for that guy.

He's turning pro after the Olympics...he wont be a professional amateur.

5'8 which is same size as Floyd and bigger than Pernell. Not sure on reach.

Imagine him going from 126 to 154, they'll be so mad.

With that height he shouldn't go anywhere above 154. How many belts he can win is totally on him. Winning needs just as much mental strength as skills.

Ok for 5'8" guy a standard reach is 68" with that size and ranginess 140 is easily doable. If reach is over 70" 147 is something he could do and I would assume his reach is over 70" though considering how highly he is thought of. If his reach is shorter than 68" then it is can he get in range and what does he does once he closes distance, which is a really hard question to answer at this point.

Floyd for example had a 72" reach which is borderline unfair for a guy that is 5'8" especially if that guy is well schooled in how to use that range to his advantage offensively and how to use those long arms to defend in many ways.

Likely Debut as a pro at Super Featherweight so I think Welterweights is what he will grow into but that is years away! Focus right now should be for this Sunday Olympic match

C'mon i like the guy but people are becoming that type of hateful fans that makes you hate a boxer, i really like Shakur, but he has never faced a top 10 fighter.
